There’s something truly special about planning an intimate wedding that brings everything back to what matters most, the love between two people and the joy of sharing it with their closest friends and family. Vanessa and Eamon’s wedding at Robinswood House in Bellevue, WA, was exactly that. It was filled with genuine moments, great vibes, and a team of amazing vendors who helped make the day flow effortlessly.

The Beauty of an Intimate Wedding

Vanessa and Eamon’s wedding day started off in the most classic way, with a beautiful ceremony at a church. There was something timeless and elegant about starting at the church and then making a fun getaway to the reception venue. I loved capturing their car ride between locations, a sweet little moment that felt like a scene straight out of a movie!

Their reception at Robinswood House was the perfect continuation of the day. This venue, with its charming gardens and cozy feel, was an ideal setting for planning an intimate wedding. The place felt like a hidden gem, and it was clear that Vanessa and Eamon made the right choice by picking a spot that felt warm and welcoming.

Working with an Awesome Vendor Team

One of the things that made Vanessa and Eamon’s wedding so memorable was the fantastic vendor team they had. From the florists to the caterers to the DJ, everyone brought their A-game! I can’t stress enough how important it is to work with vendors who understand your vision and bring positive energy to your day! This crew worked so smoothly together that the entire event felt like a well-choreographed dance.

When planning an intimate wedding, it doesn’t mean you need to go big on a professional team, but having a great group of vendors who are in sync can make a world of difference!! I loved every minute of working with these pros; they truly made the day stress-free and fun!

A Day That Was All About Fun and Flow

Vanessa and Eamon’s day had this incredible flow,  from the traditional church ceremony to the relaxed garden reception. We kicked off sunset photos with a beautiful glow that only Robinswood House can offer. And then, just as we were wrapping up, Chappell Roan’s song came on, and they ran back into the reception like a scene out of a rom-com! I was like, “Go, go, go!” 😂 capturing every giggly, joyful moment as they headed back to the party. This is what makes an intimate wedding so special! You get to do things your way, at your own pace!

Embracing the Unexpected Moments

When you’re planning an intimate wedding, it’s important to remember that it’s your day, and it should feel like your day! I’m a big believer in rolling with whatever comes. If a favorite song plays during sunset photos, take a few shots and then dip back inside to dance your heart out! Those spontaneous moments are often the most memorable and fun parts of your day. Vanessa and Eamon totally embraced this spirit, and it was a joy to capture it all.

The Perfect Wedding Flow

I also loved that Vanessa and Eamon went with a traditional wedding flow, starting at a church and moving to a different venue for the reception. It felt like the classic weddings we all know and love but with their personal touches that made it unique to them. And having two separate locations kept the day exciting and dynamic, from the emotional vows in a timeless church setting to the lively celebration at Robinswood House.

The Magic of Vendor Relationships

One of the things that stood out to me about this wedding was the incredible team of vendors we had. I genuinely enjoyed working with everyone, and it made me realize how much those relationships matter! A well-coordinated team makes the day run smoothly, and it helps create an atmosphere where the couple and their guests can fully enjoy themselves. So, if you’re planning an intimate wedding, make sure to find vendors who not only get your vision but are also a joy to work with. Trust me, it makes all the difference!
