When Presley and Kyle said they wanted their wedding to be all about fun, chill vibes, and unforgettable moments, they weren’t kidding! From the stunning Hotel Ballard wedding at the Olympic Rooftop Pavilion to an after-party that had us walking across the street to Kings Hardware, this wedding was everything I love about being a photographer!! Presley and Kyle didn’t just hire me to capture their big day, they hired me for the whole adventure, after-party included!

Presley + Kyle’s Day at the Olympic Rooftop Pavilion

Presley and Kyle’s wedding was one of those days where everything just flowed perfectly, and the Olympic Rooftop Pavilion set the perfect tone for the whole event. The vibe was relaxed but with a cool, modern edge that fit the couple’s personalities to a T. The space was filled with natural light during the ceremony, and as the night went on, the city skyline and rooftop lights created such a magical atmosphere for their reception.

Memorable Moments from Their Day:

  • The After Party! Oh my gosh, I still can’t get over how fun their after-party was. After the wedding wrapped up, we all walked across the street to Kings Hardware for some chill, fun bar vibes. Presley even bought me my first Rainier beer, and she later texted me to say the only photo she took on her wedding day was of me holding that beer! 😂 It was such a fun, down-to-earth way to keep the party going.
  • Smooth Family Photos: One of the best parts of the day was how quickly we got through family photos. Presley was expecting it to take forever, but with a little organization (and lots of laughs), we breezed through them faster than they thought! It was so nice to see them relaxed and ready to enjoy the rest of the night without stressing over formalities.

Planning Your Olympic Rooftop Pavilion Wedding

If you’re considering an Olympic Rooftop Pavilion wedding, you’re in for a treat. This venue offers the perfect balance of elegance and laid-back charm, all set against the stunning backdrop of Seattle. The space is incredibly versatile, accommodating up to 150 guests for a cocktail-style reception or up to 130 for a seated, family-style dinner. Whether you’re envisioning an intimate gathering or something a bit larger, the pavilion can handle it with ease.

One of the coolest features of the pavilion is its South and West glass walls, which fully open to create a beautiful open-air experience! Whether you want to take advantage of a sunny day or enjoy the fresh breeze during the evening, the space can adapt to whatever the weather throws your way. And speaking of weather, the venue also has a cozy fireplace on the Pavilion patio, which is perfect for those cooler Seattle nights!

With breathtaking views of the Olympic and Cascade Mountains, the Ballard waterways, and even a peek at Puget Sound, your guests will have plenty to take in as they celebrate your big day. Plus, the venue comes with a full built-in sound system, so you can set the perfect mood for your ceremony, dinner, and after-party without having to bring in extra equipment.
